23degrees: a data storytelling platform, redesigned from scratch
I redesigned most of 23degrees, a data visualisation and storytelling platform, together with its team: a new visual system and UX/UI across the product line. The work produced 120+ screens and 300+ Figma components and connected services that used to work separately.

The challenge
Recognising the untapped potential of their platform, the 23degrees team asked for help to rethink its design from scratch. Together we set out to build a user-friendly, visually appealing experience, prioritising usability and renewing its appeal. Through many conversations we overcame obstacles and made substantial progress towards an engaging platform.

The goal
- Make the user journey consistent from start to finish.
- Improve style and graphics for a visually compelling experience.
- Present information in an enticing way that captures attention.
- Simplify navigation for a broader view and seamless interaction.
- Redesign the entire platform for a cohesive, refreshed look.

The solution
- A new visual system and approach to the products, elevating their presentation and appeal.
- A new UX/UI design that gives more context and builds trust through partnerships with reputable brands.
- The essence of 23degrees preserved while projecting the brand into the future, balancing familiarity and innovation.
The result turned 23degrees into an inviting, dynamic experience: more consistent, more engaging and easier to navigate, supporting the platform's growth.

Results
- Redesigned most of the platform and the product line.
- Created over 120 screens.
- Built over 300 components in Figma.
- Connected previously separate services into one seamless flow.
- Observed an increase in user engagement during tests.
